Rockbridge County Branding
Rockbridge County has launched a branding initiative that will help capture what makes Rockbridge unique, to positively shape the community’s image and support Economic Development initiatives for the county.
What is branding?
Branding is more than a logo or a tagline, it’s based on perceptions and stories that live within the hearts and minds of Rockbridge County's residents, business owners and visitors. Through this community branding initiative, we’ll explore these stories to uncover Rockbridge County's unique attributes and key differentiators to create a strategic branding and marketing plan for the county.
How long will it take and who will be involved?
This will be a very public process that will take approximately six months to complete. Residents, business owners and visitors will be encouraged to participate in online surveys and interviews. The community’s thoughts, opinions and insights on Rockbridge County will be invaluable to ensure that we uncover the best of what the county has to offer. Design Phase Commenced!
We are excited to announce that we are entering Phase 2 of the Branding Rockbridge County project! Over the past few months, we have learned so much about Rockbridge County through conversations with county employees, board members and community stakeholders. Rockbridge County community members had the opportunity to participate in a survey which allowed you to share what you love most about the county. Thank you to the 292 people who completed the survey.
